Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and TfL are planning to dramatically cut bus services throughout Uxbridge and Ruislip, with major changes due to the U1, U3 and E7 routes.
At a Full Council Meeting of the London Borough of Hillingdon, Cllr Adam Bennett (Hillingdon West ward) shared some of the drastic cuts planned in Outer London by Labour. "Not only has Mayor Khan punished Outer London motorists with his ULEZ tax but our elderly residents and critical workers who have already had to give up their cars, are now at risk of having their already limited public transport options slashed."

In the debate, to adopt formal Council policy to object to these reductions, Labour Councillors dismissed the impact on local people and argued that Council should not waste it's time discussing issues such as these. Again, as with ULEZ expansion Hillingdon Labour are not on the side of local residents, but are falling into line behind their master, Sadiq Khan.
Fortunately Hillingdon Conservatives, at both a Council level and through local MP Steve Tuckwell, will ensure they along with local resident associations make residents aware of these planned cuts and will respond to the formal consultation you can find below.
